Trainee Office Administrator

Our client based in Southampton is actively seeking a Trainee Office Administrator to support their expanding construction business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in administration with hands-on experience, no experience required!

Key Criteria:

  • Full driving licence required (use of company van for tasks)
  • willingness to learn and develop within an office based Administration role

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm

Salary & Benefits:

  • £12.71 per hour

  • 12-week temp-to-perm contract

Main Duties:

  • General office administration: document filing, data input, and managing correspondence
  • Answering incoming calls and directing queries appropriately
  • Assisting with daily office logistics, including use of the company van for errands
  • Supporting the coordination of deliveries and collections for construction sites
  • Photocopying, scanning, and handling confidential paperwork
  • Assisting with team and supplier communications
  • Keeping the office environment tidy and organised
  • Maintaining compliance with all health & safety and company procedures

Additional Information:

  • Immediate start available
  • Must be able to commute daily to Southampton
