About the Role

As a SAP BDC Developer, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering data pipelines that extract, transform, and serve enterprise data from SAP environments into Databricks. You'll bridge traditional SAP technologies with modern cloud-based data platforms, helping organisations unlock greater value from their data assets.

Duties

• Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines from SAP into Databricks Delta Lake
• Migrate SAP BW objects and business logic into modern Databricks solutions
• Develop and optimise ABAP programs, function modules and BAPIs
• Build ingestion pipelines using SAP Datasphere, SLT and SAP extractors
• Develop transformation logic using PySpark and Spark SQL
• Work closely with SAP functional teams across SD, MM, FI and CO domains
• Contribute to agile delivery, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
• Proven ABAP / ABAP OO development experience
• Hands-on SAP BW / BW4HANA expertise
• Experience with Databricks
• Strong PySpark and Spark SQL capabilities
• Experience with SAP integration technologies
• Exposure to AWS services such as S3, Glue and IAM
• Strong Python, SQL and Git/DevOps skills
