This is an opportunity to move beyond simply delivering SAP Finance solutions and take genuine ownership of how Finance processes are designed and delivered.

You'll work directly with business users, lead conversations around complex Finance processes, and collaborate with System Integration partners and offshore teams. With exposure to major S/4HANA transformation activity and complex Retail processes, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact on a significant business program.

About the Role

As the Senior SAP FICO / Retail Specialist, you'll provide senior functional leadership across SAP S/4HANA Finance, with a particular focus on the integration between Merchandise and Finance.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into effective SAP solutions, and lead discussions around Finance processes. You'll also coordinate with offshore teams and external SI partners to ensure solutions are designed and delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands-on senior role, suited to someone who can operate independently, challenge existing processes and take ownership from requirements through to implementation.

Duties

• Provide senior functional expertise across SAP S/4HANA Finance
• Design and deliver solutions across Merchandise and Finance integration, margin analysis, Investment Management (IM) and Project System (PS)
• Support Bank Communication Management (BCM)
• Coordinate with offshore teams and external SI partners
• Lead testing, UAT, training and solution validation activities
• Support data migration activities across Finance applications
• Contribute to governance, security, audit and segregation-of-duties requirements

Skill / Experience

Mandatory:

• 8+ years of strong, hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance experience
• Significant SAP FICO experience within the Retail industry
• Strong expertise in Merchandise & Finance integration
• Extensive experience with S/4HANA Margin Analysis
• Experience across Investment Management (IM)
• Experience with Project System (PS)
• Strong experience working with System Integration partners
• Proven experience across full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations and transformation programs
• Strong stakeholder management and business engagement skills
• Ability to lead discussions, influence decisions and take ownership of Finance solutions
