About the Role

As the SAP Business Data Cloud / Datasphere Lead, you will own the design and delivery of modern SAP data platform solutions within Capgemini's Data & Analytics practice.

You'll work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and enterprise data teams to design scalable, governed and reusable data products that deliver meaningful business outcomes.

This role combines technical leadership, architecture, stakeholder engagement and delivery ownership, making it ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys leading high-performing teams. 

Duties

• Lead the design and delivery of SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and SAP Datasphere solutions
• Facilitate discovery workshops and gather business and technical requirements
• Define target-state architectures, including security, connectivity, semantic modelling and operational requirements
• Assess and recommend SAP standard content, data products and integration approaches
• Design ingestion, transformation and replication frameworks across SAP and non-SAP landscapes
• Lead data modelling activities including SQL, graphical modelling and analytical models
• Drive integration with SAP Analytics Cloud and broader enterprise data environments
• Provide technical leadership, design governance and delivery oversight to development teams
• Lead testing, performance optimisation, deployment readiness and production support activities
• Manage delivery risks, dependencies and technical decision-making across programs 

Skills & Experience

We're looking for experienced SAP data and analytics professionals who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) and/or SAP Datasphere solutions
• Strong architecture and solution design capability across enterprise data platforms
• Experience leading workshops with business, functional and technical stakeholders
• Deep understanding of data modelling, data quality and data governance principles
• Hands-on experience with SQL, analytical modelling and semantic layer design
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration and reporting environments
• Strong consulting, stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience leading technical teams across complex enterprise transformation programs

Highly Regarded

• End-to-end SAP Data & Analytics program delivery experience
• Experience with enterprise cloud data platforms
• SAP architecture or leadership experience within consulting environments
• Experience managing onshore and offshore delivery teams
• Exposure to large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
