Senior Project Manager – Lloyd’s Insurance Market – IFRS17 – Finance - Reporting
My client provides comprehensive solutions to the Lloyd’s/ London Insurance Market; they are currently seeking an IFRS 17 Senior Project Manager ideally with a finance background, good understanding of financial reporting standards and extensive Lloyd’s Insurance Market experience to join their City office.
This is a fantastic, long term opportunity to join this well established and respected organisation on a fixed term contract basis.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Obtain required approvals to commence project
- Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
- Manage the execution of the project and track progress to ensure successful delivery
Required skills/ experience:
- Strong Project Management skills
- Finance background, with good understanding of financial reporting standards
- Extensive Lloyd’s/London Insurance Market experience
- In depth knowledge of IT Finance Systems Delivery
- Excellent Communication & Stakeholder management skills to Board level
- Experience of implementing finance systems, including General Ledger, from solution selection to deployment in a multi-national environment
