Job Summary/Introduction

A new and exciting role has become available at a well established engineering and construction company based in Lagos. The company is looking to hire an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their projects department.


Role responsibilities

  • Definition of contracting strategies and tactics.
  • Preparing pre-qualification and call for bid documentation/packages in accordance with corporate
    and project contracting and procurement procedures.
  • Coordinating pre-qualification, tendering, bidding clarifications, technical and commercial
    evaluations and awarding processes, and ensuring timely progress.
  • Archive and maintain documentation of all tendering processes as per auditing procedures.
  • Supervises the activities and performance of the contractors and subcontractors through effective
    contracting plan.


Candidate requirements

  • 7-10 years experience as contracts analyst/administrator in Oil & Gas, Energy, Telecommunication, Engineering/Construction Projects.
  • Good understanding of engineering/construction contract management.
  • Engineering or Construction Project Management skill.
  • Contractual knowledge and negotiating skills. Ability to multitask, manage and resolve complex technical challenges and project interfaces.
  • Ability to generate good quality technical and progress reports.
