Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in residential groundworks, looking for more than just another job?

Nicholas Associates are working with a leading civil engineering and groundworks contractor who is looking to bring on board a Senior Site Engineer to manage large-scale residential projects across the East Midlands.

 

Role Overview:

 

As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in overseeing groundworks packages for major housing developers. From site setup through to infrastructure and foundation delivery, you’ll ensure technical accuracy, safety compliance, and on-time delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·      Supervising site engineers and subcontractors

·      QA checks and maintaining accurate site records

·      Interpreting technical drawings and specifications

·      Liaising with project managers, clients, and design teams

·      Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the site

 

Requirements:

 

·      Proven experience as a Site Engineer in residential groundworks

·      Proficient with GPS/setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)

·      Strong knowledge of (Plots/Earthworks/Roads & Sewers/278 works)

·      Leica machine control experience and creating models  

·      Proficient in cad software (AutoCAD 3d civil preferred but not essential)

·      Full UK driving licence
