Our client, a leading mining company, is seeking a Senior Mine Geologist to join their team on an 8:6 roster Fly in Fly Out of Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for providing geological guidance and support to the mining team to ensure efficient and effective ore extraction.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Conducting geological mapping, logging and sampling of drill holes, and providing geological interpretations and advice to mine planning and production teams.
• Collaborating with other geologists, engineers, and mining professionals to develop and execute mine plans and strategies.
• Providing input to grade control and reconciliation processes to optimize ore extraction and recovery.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations.

To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• A degree in Geology or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in Open Pit Mining, with a strong focus on geological modeling and interpretation.
• Proven experience in developing and executing mine plans and strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A strong commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.
