There is 1 MicroStrategy Developer & 1 Informatica Developer position available for an initial 9 month fixed term project.

Summary of the Company & Project

This company is currently going through a demerger and therefore a new data environment needs to be set up. Whereas the bulk of the data work was completed offshore it is now important for the business to set up their own tools and migrate necessary data across. MicroStrategy and Informatica are 2 key tools in use and therefore they need a specialist in both to take ownership of this project. The business are a well known retail company and there is scope for further work after the initial 9 month period.

Summary of the Role

• Set up the new Informatica and MicroStrategy environments
• Transition the applications 
• Set up and fine tune how they will be used
• Developer and Administration skills will be needed
• Work with the offshore team 
• Work as the key technical specialists for these tools
• The broader environment is within Microsoft, being able to utilise Microsoft BI tools would be advantageous

Skills to Succeed

• A strong understanding of data warehousing principles
• Expert knowledge in either MicroStrategy or Informatica
• Solid Microsoft BI skills a bonus
• SQL/SQL Sever experience
• Ability to work as the technical lead for these tools
• Project reporting and governance experience
• Administration and developer skills needed
