About the role

The position is wide and varied and you will be working on a range of tasks including:

• Working directly with clients on data focused projects
• Data delivery pipelines 
• Develop new ways of working and thinking to solve problems
• CI/CD & Devops tooling 
• Create your own solutions using a range of software
• Design proof of concepts
• Data management, architecture, development, design and more
• Code and script in your tools of choice
• Programming to help create more robust tools and software

With this role the only pre-requisite is skills in Java (whether commercial or educational)

About you

• Passionate and excited to work in the data industry
• Driven by success 
• A passion outside of your day to day role, perhaps through meet ups, learning or building stuff you think is cool
• Experience in Java essential
• Experience using a range of tools like - SQL, Python, Jenkins, Docker, Unix, Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google), ETL (Informatica, Talent, Datastage), HTML, React, C++ Puppet, Chef, Git, Tableau etc etc - you are not expected to know everything but have a passion for learning
• Strong scripting, development, design and engineering skills
• Experience working in a data, software dev or devops style environment 
• An ability to communicate with clients
