A reputable organisation in Brisbane is looking for a technically focused UKG Pro System Administrator to support its growing internal UKG capability.
This is a newly created position offering the autonomy to shape the role and become the main internal point of contact for UKG system administration.
You’ll take ownership of UKG configuration, payroll rules, system maintenance and continuous improvement. You’ll also work alongside an experienced UKG Gold Partner, giving you access to training, knowledge sharing and industry best practice.
Key responsibilities
- Become the main internal point of contact for UKG system administration.
- Configure, administer and maintain UKG Pro.
- Take ownership of payroll rules, awards and system changes.
- Support the implementation and integration of the Better Off Overall Test (BOOT).
- Build and test complex payroll and award configurations.
- Investigate and resolve technical system issues.
- Support system testing, upgrades and continuous improvement.
- Maintain system accuracy, performance and payroll compliance.
- Help establish internal processes, documentation and best practice.
- Reduce reliance on external support by building stronger internal capability.
- Identify opportunities to improve how the organisation uses UKG.
Non-negotiable requirements
- Hands-on experience as a technically focused UKG administrator.
- Strong UKG configuration experience.
- The ability to understand and configure payroll rules.
- Experience working with awards, enterprise agreements or complex pay conditions.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The confidence to take ownership of the system and work independently.
Nice to have
- Experience with Better Off Overall Test requirements.
- Experience supporting UKG implementations, redesigns or upgrades.
- Knowledge of Australian payroll and award compliance.
Previous BOOT experience is beneficial but not essential. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
