Dayforce Change Manager (BBBH12939) Australia

Dayforce Change Manager

Permanent or 12 to 24-month FTC options
Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide
Full Dayforce suite

An organisation undergoing a major HR technology transformation is looking for an experienced Change Manager to support the implementation and adoption of the full Dayforce suite.

Previous change management experience on Dayforce implementation projects is non-negotiable for this position.

This is an important role within a business that currently has limited Dayforce capability in-house. You’ll work closely with the implementation partner throughout delivery, while helping the organisation build the internal knowledge, confidence and processes needed to operate successfully after go-live.

As the implementation progresses, the role will transition from project change and business readiness into BAU adoption, continuous improvement and preparing the organisation for future Dayforce optimisation projects.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Leading the change strategy across a full Dayforce suite implementation.
  • Assessing the impact of new Dayforce processes across HR, payroll, workforce management, talent and the wider employee lifecycle.
  • Developing stakeholder engagement, communications, training and business readiness plans.
  • Working closely with the implementation partner, project team, business leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Translating technical and system changes into clear, practical impacts for employees and managers.
  • Managing change across a large and complex workforce with different employee groups, locations, working patterns and levels of system access.
  • Identifying change risks, adoption barriers and areas requiring additional support.
  • Building internal Dayforce knowledge and capability within a business with limited existing resources.
  • Supporting go-live, hypercare and the transition from implementation into BAU.
  • Helping establish the change frameworks, governance and internal ownership required to reduce reliance on the implementation partner after go-live.
  • Driving ongoing adoption and preparing the organisation for future optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for

  • Change management experience on Dayforce implementation projects is essential and non-negotiable.
  • Proven experience delivering change across large, complex or highly operational workforces.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges involved in implementing multiple Dayforce modules across a complex organisation.
  • Experience supporting different workforce groups, including frontline, shift-based, salaried and geographically dispersed employees.
  • Strong experience across business readiness, stakeholder engagement, training, communications and adoption.
  • The ability to work effectively alongside implementation partners while representing the needs of the internal business.
  • Experience transitioning a major technology implementation into BAU support and ownership.
  • The confidence to operate in an environment where internal Dayforce knowledge is still being developed.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across executive, operational and frontline levels.
  • A practical, hands-on approach, with the ability to shape the strategy while also helping deliver it.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is not a role where change finishes at go-live.

You’ll have the opportunity to influence how Dayforce is embedded across the organisation, help build its internal capability and support the move towards a more self-sufficient operating model.

Once the initial implementation is complete, your focus will move towards traditional BAU change management, strengthening adoption and preparing the business for future Dayforce optimisation projects.

The position can be offered as either a permanent opportunity or a 12 to 24-month fixed-term contract, depending on the successful candidate’s preference and availability.

The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.

If you’ve led change on a Dayforce implementation within a complex workforce and understand what it takes to turn a new system into lasting business change, we’d be keen to hear from you.
