Technical Lead – UKG Integrations

$160,000 – $180,000 + Super

We are seeking a hands-on UKG Technical Lead to take ownership of all technical and integration components of a large-scale enterprise implementation.

This permanent role operates on a hybrid model (Melbourne-based) and reports to the Project Manager.

The project is transitioning back into workshops and a focused build phase before restarting System Integration Testing and progressing toward parallel pay runs and staged rollout through 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Own delivery of approximately 10–12 enterprise integrations

• Lead integration workshops and validate technical solution design

• Ensure proposed solutions align with business and IT requirements

• Act as primary interface into internal IT (including cyber security governance and sign-off)

• Oversee security validation, configuration review and proof of concepts

• Lead integration testing (technical team will develop test cases)

• Work directly with SAP, UKG and Payroll stakeholders

• Manage technical readiness and handover into BAU

This is a fully integrated ecosystem — not file-based interfaces.

About you

• Strong, hands-on UKG implementation experience (essential)

• Deep integration experience across enterprise HRIS/WFM platforms

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT governance and security controls

• Experience operating in payroll-integrated environments

• Ability to bridge business, IT and vendor stakeholders effectively
