Are you an experienced Business Travel Consultant who is proficient in Galileo GDS?
A London based Independent Travel Management Company are seeking to recruit an Out Of Hours Business Travel Consultant (working from home) on a part time basis.
The job:
As a Business Travel Consultant (On Call) Homeworker, you will be handling the enquiries and bookings after hours for a number of corporate clients across a varied portfolio of industries (mostly the Entertainment Industry).
Duties will include:
Managing the out of hours phone and being the sole point of contact for any questions or queries
Handling client travel requests via telephone, email and booking tools
Using the GDS system Galileo to search and book.
Quote, book, issue tickets and reissue tickets for all fares worldwide.
Managing queues and issuing tickets prior to deadlines
Handling schedule changes from airlines
Proactively maintaining client relationships and providing a top level service
Experienced Required:
The Business Travel Consultant should have full experience of the following:
Using the GDS Galileo to source and book flights and hotels.
Previous experience working from home would be an advantage
Previous experience of working within a Travel Company.
Offering exceptional customer service.
Advanced fares and ticketing knowledge including manual fares creation.
Exceptional customer service skills
THE PACKAGE:
The salary range for this on call part time Business Travel Consultant role is £18,000
The working hours are 1 evening/overnight shift a week and 2 full weekends a month.
Equating to roughly 125 hours per month.
