Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading broker of refuse removal and waste solutions to recruit a Business Development Manager for their new total waste solutions division across the South of England. Utilizing an existing customer base as well as developing new business, there will be excellent support for growth into a key accounts role as the position develops. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional with good experience of the waste industry.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and develop relationships with existing customers to help grow the total waste solutions side of the business
- Identify and establish new customers across the South of England in the sale of waste services
- Identify and implement sales trends and demands of the industry
- Maintain excellent communication levels to ensure customer expectations are met and information is up to date and accurate
- Support the company at national events and waste industry trade fairs
Requirements
You will preferably be an individual from within the waste industry, having sold waste solutions or equipment previously with good technical knowledge and the ability to sell successfully. You will be a strong communicator with the ability to both account manage and develop new business, with a strong work ethic and the desire to grow with the company. In terms of location, the company are flexible, but you will need to have good access to customers across the South of England.
