We are working on a fantastic opportunity to join our client as a Qualified Nurse - RGM/RMN.
Our client puts the residents at the heart of their nursing process.
We are looking for someone to oversee the clinical aspects of the care provision and to organise the senior care and care staff on each shift to ensure that they provide appropriate and dignified care and support.
Main tasks -
- To ensure both nursing and care provision meet the required standards set by the NMC and CWC
- To promote the physical and emotional well being of residents
- To ensure that all documentation pertaining to the care and treatment of service users is correctly completed
- To complete a daily written handover
- To ensure all incidents/accidents/near misses/outbreaks are reported to the manager
- Ensure that residents are administered their medication on time
- To liaise with GPs, other professionals and residents relatives
- To assist with or oversee as required admissions for new service users
- To assist with the induction and mentoring of new staff
- To undertake hands on care as and when required
We will consider newly qualified nurses for this position at a slightly lower rate.
