Technical Manager – Aircraft Leasing
My client is a leading provider of aircraft management services, who is looking to recruit a Technical Manager to join their busy global team in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and updating detailed database of aircraft configuration and equipment
- Reporting, analysis and management of maintenance reserves
- Record and review shop visit activity
- Defining maintenance work scopes based on contractual, company or Lessee requirements
- Monitoring and management of technical provisions of aircraft and engine lease agreements
- Liaison with and monitor MRO’s for on-time and on-budget performance
- Evaluate the incorporation of technical modifications to the aircraft and upgrades
- Review and approval of aircraft specifications and lease data
- Analysing aircraft maintenance data and maintain maintenance cost database
- Participation in negotiation of airframe, engine MRO agreements and engine lease contracts
- Anticipation of aircraft maintenance status at time of delivery
- Provide support during Lessee pre-delivery inspections
- Prepare Purchase Orders
- Monitoring of logistics from placement until delivery
- Provide technical input to lease agreements, lease extensions, and LOI’s
- Participating in strategic meetings for risk management and cash flow control
- Assist Asset Management and Commercial departments as required.
Requirements:
- Relevant Technical Degree
- 3+ years aviation experience, ideally within the leasing industry
- Solid experience evaluating airframe maintenance checks, shop visits, and component overhauls
- Experience in delivery conditions, transition modifications, transition management, asst management
- Excellent communication and numerical skills
- Experience in Word, Excel, Powerplant, CMS
