Job Title: Cleaners

Location:  Birmingham, B15 1QT

Salary: £13.20

Contract:  Part time, Temporary role

Hours:  Mon to Fri, 17:00 – 19:30

GI Group are recruiting Cleaners for our client based in B15 1QT. You’ll be joining a well-established onsite team, supporting the day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of the facility.

You will be responsible for the daily cleaning of labs, washrooms, offices, hallways and cafeteria area, plus waste disposal and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

• General upkeep of communal areas, including dusting and polishing fixtures/brass.
• Responding to requests for cleaning, waste removal and moving items in a timely manner.
• Completing periodic facility tasks/projects, including stripping and waxing floors and cleaning air diffusers/exhaust grills.
• Maintaining external areas: removing debris, sweeping walkways, and cleaning the smoking area.
• Replenishing dispensers and supplies (e.g. paper products, soap, production garments).
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience req’d

• Previous cleaning / maintenance experience.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to following safety procedures.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
