Job Title:  College Minibus Driver

Salary: £16,988 (pro rata) 

Duration:   Part Time (30 hrs per week) Term Time, Temporary until June 2026

GI Group are seeking an experienced College Minibus Driver for our Public Sector client in Rotherham.

This is a key role, which will transport learners between locations in Rotherham, Dearne Valley & North Notts.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely drive minibus/van to transport young people between college sites, home and community locations.
• Ensure vehicle roadworthiness: conduct routine checks, log compliance, report and follow up faults with Estates.
• Assist with fleet bookings and coordination to keep services running smoothly.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and undertake daily housekeeping tasks.
• Support learners on trips and visits, working closely with teaching assistants and support staff.
• Follow Group policies, safeguarding procedures and RAMS at all times.

Essential requirements:

·        Full UK D1 driving licence (no endorsements), held 2+ years.

·        MIDAS minibus training completed or willing to undertake.

·        Experience driving small–medium vans and/or minibuses.

·        Willing to undertake required training and checks (Safeguarding, First Aid at Work, driver medical).

·        Flexible, reliable and able to respond to changing demands and urgent tasks.

·        Professional, confidential approach with strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work autonomously day‑to‑day.
