We are looking for a QA/QC Vendor Surveillance Supervisor for one of our clients with the following details: 

Start date: 01-MAR-2024

End Date: 31-MAY-2024

Location: Doha, Qatar

Work status: Resident, Single


ACTIVITIES

IOP Process Improvement

  • In collaboration with relevant stakeholders, identification of pain points and other issues leading to underperformance (e.g., poor quality of plans), and identification of quick-wins and other potential improvements leading to increased performance (e.g., higher accuracy, faster cycle time…)
  • Conceptualization, maturation, and finalization of improvement actions.
  • Engagement and alignment with all relevant stakeholders for implementation of improvements.
  • Supervision of required digital developments supporting improvements, as needed.
  • Consolidation of improvements (development, implementation, digital tools) under a comprehensive Process Improvement Roadmap.
  • Development and update of relevant documentation in the Company Management System.

Data Management and Reporting

  • In collaboration with key stakeholders (mainly IOP and Corporate Planning, in CPD), stewardship in the improvement and maintenance of the structure of Primavera across NOC up to industry standards.
  • Stewardship and supervision in development and maintenance of adequate planning and reporting tools for IOP and Drilling Sequence functions.
  • Stewardship and supervision in definition, calculation and update of KPIs and dashboards enabling the measurement and reporting of IOP planning performance (e.g., plans accuracy, stability…), by IOP department.
  • Leadership and supervision in definition, calculation, update and reporting of KPIs and dashboards enabling the measurement and reporting of IOP Process improvements (e.g., efficiency, governance, cycle time…), by Operations Performance department.
  • Leadership, with the Data Engineer, of the integration of relevant existing databases to improve the coordination between operational entities.

Other Improvements

  • Active contribution to the implementation of improvement initiatives owned and matured by other stakeholders (such as Integrated Resources Management, Work Pack Planning, etc…)
  • Stewardship in the maturation and implementation of emerging initiatives involving various stakeholders with still unclear ownership (such as POB Management, Non-Productive Time, Costs Monitoring, etc…), with a focus on organizational aspects (e.g., accountabilities, roles and responsibilities, etc…) 

Entity Coordination and Team Management

  • Daily engagements with all OPP members to ensure that vision and objectives permanent alignment across the entity.
  • Management of interfaces with all OPP stakeholders within NOC, with a focus on IOP stakeholders and Data Management community

As part of his/her assignment, the jobholder will also have to:

  • Demonstrate his personal commitment to NOC HSE core value (knowledge and trainings, compliance, proactivity).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Qualification:
    • Education: Bachelor of Science in any Engineering field or equivalent
    • Industry Experience: minimum 10 years’experience preferably in the petrochemical, refining, Oil & Gas industries in a similar role. Significant Project Management and large-scale Operations Planning experience. Offshore O&G experience preferred.
    • Supervisory Experience: Proven interfaces management / coordination role
  • Competencies and Behaviors
    • Experience in utilization of planning software i.e. Primavera P6, MS Project.
    • Good knowledge of planning techniques.
    • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
    • Experience in LEAN methodology.
    • Good listening, communication and presentation skills (English required), including at senior executive level.
    • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills (management by influence): proven ability to handle complex and broad range of stakeholders, including senior executives, to create consensus.
    • Good ability to work in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, transverse, multi-cultural environment.
