We are looking for an RP Precom / Comm Coordinator for one of our clients with the following details:

Start Date: 15-JAN-2026

End Date: 31-DEC-2026

Location: Doha, Qatar / Sohar, Oman 

Work status: Resident, Single

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Defree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Experience: At least 10-15 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas industry with minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a management Commissioning role.
  • Proven track record of leadership and problem resolution
  • Team Spirit and good communication skills.
  • Experienced with Total General Specifications, OPERCOM and ICAPS, PRODOM and relevant codes and standards.
  • Language: Fluent English
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment
  • H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings.

 ACTIVITIES 

EPCIC COMMISSIONING ENGINEERING PHASE

  • Review the PC/C Technical procedures (Relief valves Testing Procedure, Instrument Loop Testing Procedure, Critical Valve Passing Test Procedure…)
  • Review the Operational Test Procedures and Leak Test Packs prepared by Sub-Contractors (including ICAPS database).
  • Manage the gap analysis between plan and progress curves.
  • Define Skylines (RFC and AOC)
  • Organize the preparation and modification of all check and test sheet in accordance with CPY and Contractor Teams.
  • Follow-up Preparation and issuance of pre=commissioning and commissioning OPERCOM dossiers
  • Coordinate the brownfield activities with the Construction / Operation teams on site.

EPCIC COMMISSIONING EXECUTION PHASE (ONSHORE + OFFSHORE)

  • Promote/ensure safety withing the Commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures and Permit to Work system are implemented by the Contractor Commissioning Team.
  • Witness the pre-commissioning activities performed by the Contractor and review all “Ready for Commissioning” (RFC) dossiers.
  • Control all Commissioning activities performed by Contractor.
  • Ensure proper control of Commissioning activities (progress vs planning, punch list follow-up) and recommend any necessary corrective actions.
  • Report immediately any unexpected event that may impact the Commissioning or Start-Up of the platforms.
  • Provide reporting to Company Commissioning Head.
  • Review the Commissioning dossiers (AOC) after completion of brownfield Commissioning activities and sign the AOC.
  • Review the Transfer and Operation Maintenance dossiers (TOM)
