We are recruiting for a Family Court Advisor based in Derbyshire for Cafcass.
The Early Intervention Team is the front door to CAFCASS Services for children and their family. Your role within the team will be to apply your safeguarding knowledge to ensure that CAFCASS only intervene in children and young people's lives when they are in need of a service.
The service is fast paced, energetic, drawing on Child Protection expertise, analytical risk assessment, identifying key issues for the court and making safe recommendations in the best interests of the child.
As an Early Intervention Family Court adviser, you will attend initial hearings with Court Hearings to ensure that children remain central to all decision making. You will predominantly achieve this by conducting effective telephone interviews with applicants and respondents and assessing information received from other agencies.
You must be HCPC qualified and have 3 years + experience within children's services as a social worker. You will also be required to have excellent written communication skills, including writing court reports.
You will have the opportunity of flexible working with this role, including working from home when necessary.
