Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver sales strategies that boost revenue and open up fresh opportunities in the market.
- Build lasting partnerships with customers and industry contacts, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Keep a close eye on the market – spotting trends, anticipating client needs, and staying ahead of competitors.
- Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to roll out campaigns that generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
- Track performance against targets, analyse results, and share insights with senior leadership.
- Act as a brand ambassador at exhibitions, networking events, and trade shows.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industrial movement systems, adapting solutions to meet each client’s operational needs.
- Occasional travel to Southampton and Newcastle.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Strong communicator able to influence, negotiate, and build relationships.
- Good knowledge of equipment and systems used for moving and processing goods, such as telehandler, forklift or cherry picker.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Results-driven, motivated by commissions and bonuses.
- Flexible to travel across the UK for client visits and events.
