We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and performance of a modern manufacturing plant. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you'll play a key role in reducing downtime, improving equipment performance and supporting continuous improvement projects across the site.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical fault finding on production equipment.
- Maintain and repair ancillary equipment, chillers, compressors, dryers, robotic systems.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability.
- Respond effectively to breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Contribute to a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, quality and operational excellence.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications and reliability projects.
What We're Looking For
- Electrically qualified Maintenance Engineer or Technician.
- Strong electrical bias with mechanical fault-finding capability.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Positive, proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Highly Advantageous
- Experience working with automated manufacturing machinery.
- PLC fault-finding experience.
- Knowledge of robotics, conveyors or automated production systems.
