Company
Your new company is about to break into the forefront on waste/recycling management and automation and is looking for an experienced Transport Allocator to join their team and oversee their fleet on vehicles.
Role
In your role as the Transport Allocator, you will be responsible for managing all allocations, managing, and liaising with both customers and contractors, sourcing and allocation transport resources. You will also be responsible for helping to build the transport function as well as monitoring the Chain of Responsibility.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience as a transport allocator or planner
- In depth understanding of the CoR including fatigue management and load restraint knowledge
- Exceptional time management and eye for detail
- Microsoft Suite experience
