Your new company is an innovative, industry leading steel manufacturer who has had exceptional growth and expansion over the last 2 years. With continued growth plans and increased customer demand they currently require an experienced Production Supervisor.

Role
In your role as the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production team ensuring production orders are fill on time whilst adhering to quality assurance practises. You will work closely with the wider production and logistics team to ensure sufficient stock as well as optimise the dispatch schedule. You will also be responsible for helping to maximise production rates as well as remove and bottle necks in the production line via continuous improvements.

Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:

• 3 + years of experience as a production supervisor in a fast-paced production environment ideally steel or heavy manufacturing industry
• Experience with continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with ERP systems, whilst not essentially but ideally with Microsoft Business
• Ability to lead and motivate a team from the front
