Company
Your new company is one of Australia’s biggest meat producers with sites all over Australia employing 1000’s of people. They are currently looking for 5 maintenance electricians to work across a rotating shift lifestyle roster in their modern site located on the coast of central Queensland.
Role
In your role as the maintenance electrician, you will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, fault finding including PLC troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and upgrades. Rebuilding of motors and other parts as we all as installation and commissioning work. You will work closely with a large trades team of both fitters and electricians in order to maximise machine uptime whilst working in with production schedules.
Requirements
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Relevant electrical trade qualifications
- Experience working with PLCs and VSDs
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Ability to interpret and read circuit drawings
- Whilst not required those with automation and robotics experience will be highly desirable
