MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - PROPERTY AND IT -RETAIL/HOSPITALITY (IGMAUKV001) West London, England

Salary: GBP50000 - GBP60000 per annum + BONUS + BENEFITS
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT SPECIALISING IN PROPERTY AND IT WANTED BY LEADER IN THE RETAIL/LEISURE/HOSPITALITY MARKET.
BASED IN THEIR HEAD OFFICE IN WEST LONDON

My Client is on of the UK's (and Europe's) leading hospitality/retail/leisure brands , with a very strong financial performance over the last few years enabling a forthcoming period of sustained re-investment.

The role has focus of management accounting and forecasting relating to Property & IT costs across the UK&I estate and Head office. The management accountant will support the Financial Controller by working closely with the Property & IT departments and the property & IT finance business partners and FPA to ensure accurate recording, reporting and forecasting of costs, liabilities and assets. The management accountant will provide insightful commentary for variances, cost opportunities and monitoring risks.

Knowledge & Experience

Essential
• Qualified accountant – ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Experience with Property accounting under IFRS 16 and IAS 17 • Familiar with analysing large volumes of data and providing insights.
• Solid experience of reconciliation of large volumes of data.
• Able to demonstrate examples of proactively engaging, guiding, supporting and recommending solutions with non-finance teams to improve profit performance, transparency of performance and processes
• Extensive knowledge working with Excel
• Experience of producing variance analysis and commentary

Desirable
• Experience gained within the Retail, Leisure, Hospitality sectors
• Basic knowledge of MS power-point
• Knowledge of Agresso financial system


The role is responsible for the property & IT departments cost preparation and review.
