My Client is a luxury accessories and fashion retailer who is enjoying a period of unprecedented success. As a result they are looking for a merchandiser to join their Head Office team in London.

The role would suite an experienced assistant merchandiser looking to step up , or a Junior Merchandiser looking for an interesting new role.
Working within the Merchandise department you will be responsible for ;

• Seasonal sales analysis for both retail and wholesale, including analysis of best sellers and underperformers by style by line for all categories.
• Biannual final sales feedback pack, analysing and consolidating global sales.
• Seasonal reporting about research for missed opportunities, shapes, functions and price points; this feeds in to range planning.
• Constant feedback about trends in both luxury fashion and luxury in general.
• Creation of the seasonal & non seasonal range plans for all lines, collaborations and any pop-up requests. Range plans must be heavily detailed, including colour requests.
• Collection pricing.
• Feedback on styles during design collection reviews, specifically focusing on variety and balance of colourways and shapes between pre and main, and ensuring there are no over developed styles or doubled functions/shapes.
• Proposals for deciding the carry over colours and shapes based on sales feedback.
• Seasonal store orders, including confirmation on the volume of units being ordered for stores, providing relevant teams with the orders that have been placed including unit numbers.
• Development of a seasonal product training pack and delivery of actual training to boutique team.

A strong knowledge of both the luxury fashion industry and trends within the luxury industry in general is key – continual feedback on these trends is expected. Candidates should have a good feel for the positioning of our brand within the market, and be prepared to integrate that knowledge into range planning.
