Energy Automation System Engineer Trainee (M/F) - Lisbon (BBBH608947) Amadora, Portugal

Kelly Engineering is recruiting an Energy Automation System Engineer Trainee to integrate Siemens Smart Infrastructures, located in Alfragide, Lisbon.

Siemens Smart Infrastructures rely on the combination of smart grids and smart buildings by combining physical solutions and digitalization in all areas of electrification and automation. Ingeniously it connects energy systems, buildings and industries to improve the way we live and work through greater efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn how to contribute to EA projects as a Systems Engineer, learning about Protection (SIPROTEC), Substation Automation & Power Quality and Measurement (SICAM), IoT Solutions (SIPROTEC Digital Twin) and Cyber Security;
  • Learn how to ensure that the development of projects is carried out efficiently, with a view to meeting the technical requirements and deadlines agreed with customers, as well as optimizing the economic indicators associated with them and the quality of the final product supplied;
  • Support EA Commissioning team, considering the development needs of the various activities under teams’ responsibility, as well as optimizing the respective levels of productivity and efficiency, motivation and team spirit;
  • Learn how to distribute to your peers all the information necessary for the execution of each task, as well as all the relevant documentation related to the respective functions and activities of the team;
  • Learn about the basic concepts and technical solutions related to the topic of digitization to be adopted in the command, control and protection systems and other projects to be developed by the EA COM team;
  • Ensuring compliance with Siemens S.A. policies, and the SI sector, regarding Compliance processes, as well as Quality, Environment and Safety Management related to this business area;
  • Participation in international projects for EA COM, namely through supporting definition and technical coordination of engineering solutions to be implemented, as well supporting commissioning in EA COM Laboratory.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, with a major in Energy;
  • Good level of English;
