About the role

The Admissions and Student Recruitment Officer provides expert assistance to education agents and international students in relation to applications and entry requirements.

The role involves entering applicant data, processing applications, issuing Offers and CoEs and ensuring that excellent customer service and quality standards are provided to key stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess applications from international applicants, screen for Genuine Temporary Entrant Requirements (GTE) from high risk countries, generate Letters of Offer and issue and manage Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs)
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager with the Lead conversion process as appropriate
  • Liaise with education agents onshore and offshore and Navitas Source Country Offices
  • Update and maintain student records and contribute to alignment of systems/records within institution and University partner
  • Develop and maintain strong, effective and enduring partner relationships with agents, University partner and Navitas stakeholders
  • Participate in promotional activities as required

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • A relevant degree qualification and/or equivalent professional administrative training
  • Relevant experience in working in an international admissions environment including the assessment of international applications for admissions GTE assessment experience in a complex educational organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the ESOS Regulatory Framework and Student Visa Programme
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of attention to detail and proven ability to exercise judgement and initiative
  • High level of computer competency, including data management through record uploads and data retrieval in large scale databases and advanced MS Office skills
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with and establish effective professional relationships with internal and external clients from a range of backgrounds and cultures
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently under broad supervision and as part of a team and to maintain a high level of efficient client service
