Our client, major EPC company in Oil and Gas Sector is currently looking for a “HVAC Engineer” to work on the upcoming project.

Duration : 3 months extendable.

Work location : Doha, Qatar

Required : 

• Shall be well versed with various HVAC systems and in their design.
• Shall have experience in HVAC system design in Offshore & Onshore Oil & Gas projects in Feasibility, FEED, Detail Engineering and Brown field projects.
• Shall have minimum 5 to 8 Years experience in the Oil & Gas On/Offshore field, refinery, chemical, etc.
• Shall be able to prepare / review  Basis of design, job specifications, PFD, MTO, HVAC heat load calculations, Datasheets, HVAC drawings.
• Shall perform technical bid analysis, checking of vendor drawings / calculations, technical recommendations, and purchase requisitions.      
• Support Lead Engineer in coordination with Client, Engineering Consultant, Construction Contractor, Vendors.
• In addition to design experience, shall be able to support Lead Engineer by understanding and in solving site related and HVAC equipment performance related issues.
• Efficient issues resolution during project execution and ability to balance scope, resources and time to achieve project objectives.
• Familiar with various Codes and Standards like ASHRAE, NFPA, API, the client company DEP Standards.
• Proficient on Engineering Software application such as Hourly Analysis Program (HAP), Elite CHVAC, Elite Duct Sizing & Psychometrics.
• Familiarity with Auto CAD, Revit MEP , MicroStation, Smart Plant Review, Navisworks will be added advantage.
• Ready to visit offshore to identify and understand various performance issues with existing HVAC equipment and propose solutions.
