Labourpower is currently recruiting for 10 experienced machine operators to join a National Food Manufacturing plant in Taren Point. This is an ongoing opportunity working in a fast-paced food production environment. The role will involve operating and monitoring production machinery, along with packaging and generally production duties.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Afternoon: 3:30pm – 11:30pm

Night: 11:30pm-7:30pm

To be successful for this role you will need:

• Previous machine operating experience, preferably within manufacturing or food production
• Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
• Experience in production and fast-paced physical environments
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements
• Excellent reliability and punctuality
• Have FULL WORKING RIGHTS and AVAILABILITY

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Operating and monitoring food production machinery
• Monitoring machines to ensure they are running efficiently and report any faults
• Operating production equipment and following production specifications
• Packing finished products accurately into cartons
• Fast-paced packaging and labelling
• Completing production paperwork as required
• Following food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised production area
• Working as part of a team while also being able to work autonomously
