Talent Development Consultant - 12 month renewable contract (VF9K24-26125061) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates


A technology R&D Business is seeking a Consultant – Talent Development to support the delivery of integrated talent development initiatives across the organisation. This role plays a key part in shaping capability, leadership, and career development through structured frameworks, programmes, and data-driven talent practices.



 

This role sits within the Learning & Development function and plays a key part in enabling performance, capability, leadership, and career development through structured frameworks and programmes. You will work closely with HR partners, business leaders, and external vendors to support talent initiatives across multiple stages of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of performance management cycles, including calibration activities

  • Coordinate competency assessments and ensure consistent application of frameworks

  • Support succession planning and talent review processes

  • Design, coordinate, and support the delivery of learning and leadership development programmes

  • Support career pathways and Individual Development Plans (IDPs)

  • Manage and coordinate internship and early-career / pipeline initiatives

  • Coordinate centralized training activities across multiple stakeholders

  • Deliver assigned strategic talent development initiatives and projects

  • Maintain accurate talent data, documentation, and reporting

  • Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and process standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support integration between assessment outcomes and development actions

  • Coordinate learning delivery with internal teams and external vendors

  • Support leadership and pipeline development initiatives

  • Contribute to talent dashboards, reporting, and insights

  • Support communication and awareness initiatives related to talent programmes

  • Support HR systems and talent modules (e.g. SuccessFactors, LMS)

  • Contribute to continuous process improvement

  • Support ad-hoc or special talent projects as required

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

  • 5–7 years’ experience across at least two areas of talent development

  • Strong understanding of talent development frameworks and processes

  • Experience supporting learning programme delivery

  • Comfortable working with HR systems (SuccessFactors and/or LMS platforms preferred)

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple initiatives concurrently

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Analytical, structured thinker with a proactive mindset
