CAD / REVIT Engineer

Salary: £35,000-£45,000, negotiable depending on experience
 
Major Recruitment is recruiting a CAD / REVIT Engineer for an established, growing engineering business specialising in ventilation, air conditioning and HVAC services.
 
This is an opportunity for a CAD / REVIT Engineer to produce detailed ductwork and air conditioning drawings, carry out site surveys and support project coordination.
 
The role
As a CAD / REVIT Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Producing accurate working drawings for production and installation.
• Designing and detailing ductwork and air conditioning systems.
• Carrying out site surveys, gathering information and coordinating system routes.
• Producing take-offs for estimating and assisting with estimates.
• Preparing bills of materials.
• Checking completed drawings and incorporating equipment details accurately.
• Maintaining schedules for issued and received drawings.
• Providing drawing time information to support project scheduling.
• Copying and printing drawings as required.
• Developing your skills through training in additional CAD packages.

 
About you
The successful CAD / REVIT Engineer will have:

• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit, ideally supported by relevant qualifications.
• Strong attention to detail and a conscientious approach to drawing accuracy.
• Good IT, organisation and time management skills.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ideally, three years' experience in a similar position, although this is advantageous rather than essential.
