ABOUT THE COMPANY

TwoScots are excited to partner with a fast-growing Utilities company, backed by Australia’s largest member organisation. This company provides services across home security, solar energy, inspection and trade services. They are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join the team on a permanent basis. 

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the GM for Trades and Securities, the Finance Business Partner will be the main point of contact for financial guidance for these divisions. There is a strong technical accounting aspect to this role and therefore could be suited to a personable financial/management accountant who is looking to take the next step in their career.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• The Finance Business Partner will be the “go-to” person for the Trades and Security divisions and the finance division.
• They will be responsible for translating intricate financial data and offering commercial insights to the two key divisions within the business. 
• Leading budget and forecast development, running revenue, cost and margin analysis and helping with ad-hoc financial accounting tasks. 
• Identifying opportunities and risks, providing guidance in the strategic decision making process and working to implement new solutions. 
• Contributing inputs into EOM management and board reporting packs. 

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE

• CPA/CA qualified or equivalent
• Min. 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-2 in a similar role
• Strong technical financial and management accounting experience
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to problem solve and influence stakeholders across all levels of the business 
• Experience in trades and/or construction industry a plus
