Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the South West, which is in need of a keen Paralegal to join their Adult Social Care legal team. Please find below details of the position:
Role: Adult Social Care Paralegal
Location: South West, hybrid working
Contract Length: 6 months ongoing
Rate: £15-£17ph
The Role:
- Assist a team of Solicitors and other paralegals with Adult Social Care cases.
- The role will involve handling Court of Protection cases, S21A cases, Mental Health cases and any other matters brought to the council’s Adult Social care legal team
- Perform any duties necessary in order to facilitate the successful running of the team
The Person:
- Someone with 12 months of experience as a Paralegal, ideally within a Adult Social Care Legal team
- To have completed a Law Degree/CILEx Level 6 or Legal Practice Course
- Any Local Authority or judicial review legal experience would be highly advantageous
