Residual Value & Monitoring Senior Manager
PURPOSE SUMMARY:
This role is a “hands on” role that is responsible for the Retail and Rental Residual Value (RV) management within the Credit area. The Residual Value and Monitoring Senior Manager needs to oversee and manage the entire process of analysis, assessment, reporting, system updating, forecast of Residual Values for all vehicles managed. The role requires a high level of competency in Excel, statistical reporting and motor industry knowledge.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for creating and ensuring the appropriate RV positions for vehicles

Manage the relationship with the Market Makers from a RV and SMR perspective (CAP, Autofutura, Eurotax Glass, KeeResources)

Benchmark analysis results with available resources in the market, main publications information and LTR tools

Supply monthly updates highlighting RV threats in the market place on the sectors the Company transacts in

Work closely with Car Maker product managers in order to get the latest information to the market makers

Liaise with LTR and Retail team in order to assess the positioning of products, using the help of the analytics within the Market and feedback provided by Sales managers

Liaise with the Remarketing Department in order to make sure that all opportunities arising from the reselling of products are in line with the strategy of RV positioning

Attend and support key meetings with major end user accounts to provide /present Company RV positions

Compile monthly reports on a set basket showing Forecast RV movements. Provide rational and reasoning as to why that movement has taken place

Present to the Residual Value Committee the proposals of appropriate RV positions providing rational and reasoning as to why the suggestions have given

Ensure that all company systems are promptly updated according to the company requirements also throughout a review of the current processes

Manage the relationship and the information required by Turin H/Q
REPORTING:
Reports to: Credit Director Number of Reports: 1 (and 1 temp)
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong Excel, Word & Power Point skills.
Experience in all areas of product management within the automotive sector including pricing and market analysis.
Able to work independently of others and use own initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills required to manage relationships with colleagues.
Strong decision and communication skills.
Education to at least degree level or equivalent. Additionally, relevant professional qualifications are desirable, but not essential.
Highly self-motivated and have the drive to succeed.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to respond and adapt to new challenges on a daily basis.
