Key Account Manager (JN -042025-62522) Lincoln, England

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum + OTE £60,000

We are recruiting for a Key Account Manager on behalf of our client in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative, fash growing company.

Location: Lincoln / Hybrid


Role Purpose:
You will be responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships within the Multichain, Forecourt, and Wholesale channels, while actively seeking out and securing new business opportunities. This dual responsibility requires a strategic, customer-focused approach to drive revenue growth, ensure operational excellence, and contribute to the overall success of the business.


Key Responsibilities:


● Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with key accounts.
● Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while aligning with business objectives.
● Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within target channels to achieve growth objectives.
● Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, and promotional agreements to maximize profitability and customer value.
● Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets, category growth, and market share objectives.
● Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of customer plans.
● Manage the end-to-end process of launching new products or initiatives within accounts.
● Act as a key liaison between customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
● Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to represent the business and build networks.

 

Experience & Qualifications:


● Strong relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in using sales and market data.
● Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
● Proven experience in a National Account Manager or similar role within FMCG, ideally within the Convenience, Forecourt, or Wholesale channels.
● Demonstrated track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving growth targets.
● Experience in business development and winning new customers.
● Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required.
