Based at a busy vehicle export centre in Halewood, we are looking to recruit a number of Vehicle Handling Operatives to join our automotive team. This role will involve handling brand new high specification vehicles within our clients compound.
All driving is contained within the compound and will involve moving vehicles into the appropriate allocated bays and pulling vehicles for dispatch loads. Quality control is a top priority so the role will involve visual inspections of the vehicles to ensure that no damage or faults are present.
Contract Type: Temporary On Going
Hours: Part Time - 2-3 days per week available.
Shifts: The company operates a 24/7 shift pattern, these are broken down into core shifts: 6:30am - 2:30pm, 2:30pm - 10:30pm, 10:30pm- 6:30am, including occasional weekends. Flexibility is required to ensure that workloads are covered. You will be notified weekly of your shift pattern.
Rate of Pay:
Non AWR (First 1 - 12 weeks)
£8.34 Basic Rate
£1.88 additional shift allowance for nights only
AWR (After 12 weeks)
£8.59 Basic
AM Shift additional £1.07 shift allowance
PM Shift additional £1.29 shift allowance
Night Shift additional £1.93 shift allowance
It is essential that all applicants hold a valid drivers license with less than 6 penalty points and no DR offences and are aged 25 years or over for insurance purposes.
