Family Solicitor – Taunton

Exceptional new opportunity at a long established and well respected Somerset firm with a loyal client base and a strong presence across the region. This role is based in their Taunton office, working within a supportive and highly regarded Family team.

They are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor with broad expertise across divorce, finances, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, domestic abuse applications and pre/post nuptial agreements. This is a fantastic chance to become a key member of a close knit team acting for a wide variety of clients on a full range of family law matters.

The Role

• Managing a varied caseload of family law matters from instruction to conclusion
• Conducting face to face client meetings and providing clear, empathetic legal advice
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements and court applications
• Representing clients in negotiations and, where appropriate, court proceedings
• Maintaining excellent client care and building long term relationships
• Supporting business development and networking initiatives

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience across a broad range of family law matters
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with excellent attention to detail
• Confident drafting skills and sound legal judgement
• Strong organisational abilities and ability to prioritise effectively
