A vacancy has arisen for a NQ – 4 PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a dynamic and growing Regulatory Enforcement & Compliance team at this highly regarded and thriving law firm in their Taunton office.

You’ll be advising on some of the most business-critical and reputation-sensitive issues across a range of industries — from health and safety investigations to trading standards prosecutions.

If you thrive on variety, are commercially savvy, and have a sharp eye for detail then this role could be just for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll support clients across a broad mix of regulatory and contentious matters, including:

  • Advising on investigations by HSE, Environment Agency, Food Standards Agency, and Trading Standards
  • Supporting clients after major incidents, including preparing for interviews under caution and internal inquiries
  • Delivering compliance advice and risk management strategies
  • Working closely with the wider Commercial Dispute Resolution team on litigation matters
  • Identifying and developing new client relationships and business opportunities


Requirements:

  • 0–4 years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Experience in regulatory or criminal enforcement matters
  • A strong grasp of investigation and enforcement processes, including criminal procedure
  • Excellent communication, analytical and client-care skills
  • An interest in commercial litigation and broader dispute resolution
