Commercial Property Solicitor – Plymouth

Our client, a leading and well established Plymouth law firm with an enviable reputation for high quality commercial work, is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to further strengthen their thriving team. The Role
You will manage a varied and stimulating caseload of commercial property matters, including:

• Secured lending and finance work
• Securitisation matters
• Commercial leases
• Landlord and tenant matters
• Sales and purchases of freehold commercial properties and businesses
• Complex property and mortgage related transactions

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the department, contribute to business development initiatives, and play an active role in maintaining and growing the firm’s commercial client offering. The role also involves attending networking events and nurturing your own developing network of clients and referrers.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring:

• A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial property
• Strong technical ability with excellent drafting and research skills
• Confidence in handling complex matters
• A commercially minded approach with an understanding of the needs of business clients
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• A proactive, driven work ethic with the ambition to grow your own client base
• A collaborative mindset, able to work under supervision yet take responsibility when required
• Good IT literacy and experience using case management systems
• A commitment to delivering high quality work and exceptional client service
