The Role
You'll advise a broad client base, including public bodies, charities, education providers and commercial organisations, on a range of procurement and commercial matters.

Your work will include:

  • Supporting clients through procurement exercises and tender processes
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts
  • Advising on outsourcing, collaboration, framework and grant agreements
  • Working on major public sector, technology, regeneration and infrastructure projects
  • Providing practical advice on contract management, variations and risk issues


Candidate Requirements
We're interested in hearing from solicitors who have experience in:

  • Commercial contracts, procurement or public sector projects
  • Drafting and negotiating complex agreements
  • Providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice
  • Managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy


Knowledge of public procurement law would be advantageous, although candidates from a strong commercial contracts background looking to specialise further in this area are also encouraged to apply.

You'll be a confident communicator, commercially aware and keen to play a key role in a growing practice area.
