New and rare opportunity for an experienced Corporate Partner to join a dynamic and ambitious Corporate team at a forward-thinking UK law firm. This is a prime opportunity to lead high-value transactions, drive business development, and shape the future of a growing practice.

Our client are looking for a commercially minded Corporate Partner with a proven track record in M&A, private equity, joint ventures, and corporate structuring. You can expect to play a pivotal role in advising prestigious clients, leading complex transactions, and mentoring the next generation of legal talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee complex corporate transactions, including M&A, private equity, and restructurings.
  • Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base, from SMEs to multinational corporations.
  • Draft and negotiate critical transactional documentation.
  • Manage deal teams, collaborating across disciplines to ensure seamless client service.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Drive business development efforts, expanding the client base and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Corporate practice.
  • Mentor and support junior lawyers.


This Corporate team is known for its commercial acumen and expertise in M&A, private equity, venture capital, and corporate finance. The client base is diverse to include, entrepreneurs, multinational firms, investors, and private equity houses and you can expect to handle high-profile transactions across diverse industries.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years PQE in corporate law, gained at a reputable UK firm.
  • Proven experience advising on M&A, private equity, and corporate restructuring.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to generate work through an existing client following or demonstrated business development success.
