The firm is seeking to expand its thriving Litigation & Dispute Management team and is looking to hire an Associate Solicitor to join the busy Contract Disputes team within the wider Volume Litigation Department.

As an Associate in the Contract Disputes team, you will manage your own caseload of consumer and commercial contract disputes, handling claims from inception through to resolution. You’ll work across Fast and Intermediate Track matters, assessing prospects of success, negotiating settlements, and litigating through the Civil Courts where necessary. You’ll also play a key role in driving efficient case handling, delivering excellent client service, and meeting performance targets.

The Role

  • Managing a varied caseload of contract disputes end-to-end.
  • Advising clients and assessing prospects of success at an early stage.
  • Negotiating and litigating claims through the courts, mediation, and ADR.
  • Ensuring cases are handled in line with client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Delivering against SLA, KPI, and financial targets.


About You

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Practitioner.
  • Strong background in Contract Law and Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Experience of litigating cases through to trial and resolving disputes via ADR.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload under pressure with a proactive, commercial approach.
  • Resilience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to client care.
  • Supervisory or management experience would be an advantage.
