An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join the Exeter office of a leading UK Top 100 law firm. Recognised in the Legal 500 for its expertise, the firm's Employment team advises a diverse range of clients across the private, public and third sectors, delivering practical, commercially focused solutions on complex workplace issues.
As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting and developing client relationships while handling a broad mix of employment matters, including:
- Providing strategic advice to employers on both contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.
- Guiding clients through employee relations matters including disciplinary processes, grievances, performance management, redundancy exercises and organisational change.
- Managing Employment Tribunal litigation and advising throughout the ACAS Early Conciliation process.
- Assisting clients with complex employment issues such as discrimination claims, whistleblowing concerns, TUPE transfers and internal investigations.
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across corporate, commercial and dispute resolution teams on multi-disciplinary projects and transactions.
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a strong employment law background and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Ideally, you will have:
- 5+ years' PQE specialising in Employment law.
- Experience advising employer clients across a wide range of workplace issues.
- Strong Employment Tribunal and contentious employment law experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong drafting and organisation skills.
- An interest in business development and contributing to the continued success of the team.
