Private Property & Agriculture – Associate / Senior Associate – Taunton

Depending on your experience, this opportunity can be either at Associate or Senior Associate level.

The Role

  • Manage your own caseload of rural and agricultural property matters, including high value rural homes, farms, estates and unregistered land.
  • Advise on complex transactions involving diversification, renewable energy projects and environmental issues.
  • Handle the full range of rural property work: support payments, tenancies, rights of way, environmental considerations and secured lending.
  • Work on landlord and tenant matters under key agricultural legislation.
  • Collaborate with planning, estate planning and litigation teams.
  • Build strong relationships with clients including estates, farming families, investors and banks.


Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or legal executive with strong academics.
  • Confident managing your own workload and communicating with clients.
  • Team focused, organised and commercially aware.
  • Keen to develop technical skills and contribute to business development.
