This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team and work on nationally significant rail and transport disputes.
You will advise major transport operators, infrastructure owners, public bodies and industry stakeholders on a wide range of contentious matters across the rail and wider transport sector. The work is complex, strategic and often at the forefront of developments within the industry.
Typical areas of work include:
- Major transport and public service contract disputes
- Procurement and rolling stock related disputes
- Infrastructure and fleet project issues
- Regulatory and compliance matters
- Safety and operational incidents
- Contentious matters affecting rail and transport operators across the UK
Working alongside recognised leaders in the sector, you will gain exposure to some of the most significant transport disputes in the market while helping clients navigate commercial and regulatory risk.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE.
- Experience in dispute resolution with exposure to rail, transport, infrastructure, procurement or regulatory matters.
- Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex issues.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the confidence to take ownership of matters and contribute to business development.
- Interest in developing a specialist practice within the transport sector.
