A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a respected regional law firm with multiple offices and a strong presence across the South West.

Joining a well-established Residential Property team, you'll benefit from dedicated administrative support and the opportunity to work on a broad range of conveyancing matters. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, alongside the backing of an experienced and knowledgeable wider team.

Duties will include:

  • Running a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post-completion
  • Handling:
    • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
    • Remortgages
    • Transfers of equity
    • General residential property transactions
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents and other referrers
  • Playing an active role in business development and networking initiatives
  • Supporting the continued success and growth of the property department
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm's wider office network


Candidate Requirements

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and Chartered Legal Executives with at least 6 years' PQE (or equivalent experience) within residential conveyancing.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong track record of independently managing a full conveyancing caseload
  • Possess excellent technical knowledge of residential property transactions
  • Be client-focused with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
  • Enjoy building professional networks and generating new opportunities
  • Be organised, self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
  • Ideally have previous supervisory or mentoring experience
